Tribute band U2 2 perform all of U2’s greatest hits at The Met

On Saturday 27 June the world’s longest running U2 tribute band perform hits off every U2 album at The Met.

Formed in 1992 U2 2 are the world’s longest running U2 tribute band and have been on the road for 23 years with shows spanning three continents. Known for their sounds and stage presence, they have performed alongside U2, received praise from Bono and are also considered by U2 as their official tribute band.

They are the real-deal when it comes to look-a-like sound-a-like band. They have performed 1000’s of shows all across the world and are the only tribute band to have performed alongside U2 on many occasions, including Sheffield and Amsterdam both on the Popmart and 360 tour. The band won the award for ‘Best Sound-A-Likes’ on BBC’s ‘Battle of the Tribute Bands’ and their singer made it to the finals of ITV’s ‘Stars in their Eyes’. They were also hired for a promotion by Blackberry as U2 look-a-likes. Past clients also include RTE, SKY, Air1tv, Pernod-Ricard and the 2012 Olympics.
