Devilishly innovative folk from Scots duo Twelfth Day

Scottish fiddle, harp and vocal duo Twelfth Day present material from their latest album, The Devil Makes Three at The Met on Thursday 13 November at 8pm.

From opposite ends of Scotland, Catriona Price (fiddle / vocals) and Esther Swift (harp / vocals) use a fresh, open-minded approach to song and instrumental writing to create stylish and dynamic arrangements at the forefront of innovative modern folk music.

The duo have previously released two acclaimed albums, Northern Quarter in 2010 and collaborative album with Joy Dunlop, Fiere, in 2012 and produced a special cover of Morrissey’s You’re The One For Me Fatty for BBC Radio Manchester’s 40th birthday celebrations. The Devil Makes Three was released in June this year.
