‘Queen of Americana’ Eve Selis comes to Bury on Saturday 19 July at 8pm.
Winner of seven San Diego Music Awards, Eve Selis draws influences from rock to country and everything in between. Her latest album, Family Tree, features styles including swamp-rock in ‘Rubber and Glue’, plaintive country heartbreak in ‘Don’t You Feel Lonesome’ and a cover of Leonard Cohen’s majestic masterpiece, ‘Hallelujah’.
“Eve is a deeply creative, caring artist who gives everything to her craft. As a live performer she is awesomely powerful, as a recording artist she is both sensitive and strong. I love her spirit and I love her music. She deserves to shine.” – Bob Harris.
For this visit to The Met Eve will be joined by guitarist Marc ‘Twang’ Intravaia and supported by duo Berkley Hart. The evening will conclude with all four musicians coming together as Berkley, Hart, Selis and Twang.
Tickets for the event are £12. For more information or to book phone Box Office on 0161 761 2216 or go online at www.themet.biz
