Sweet Baby James bring the Songs of James Taylor to Bury

Sweet Baby James, tribute to legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor, come to The Met on Friday 6 June at 8pm.

Sweet Baby James are Brian Dales (guitar and vocals) and Job Chamberlain (Keyboards). The duo bring their own flair and sensitivity to much loved songs like Fire and Rain and You’ve Got A Friend, while staying faithful to the acoustic guitar driven arrangements that are Taylor’s trademark.

One of the most influential figures in popular music over the last half-century, James Taylor is a recipient of the Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government and the National Medal of Arts by the American government, both nation’s highest honours for artistic excellence. His music embodies the art of songwriting in its most universal form, describing specific, even autobiographical situations in a way that resonates with people everywhere.

With a combined 40+ years experience in the music business Sweet BaBy James deliver an honest and musically impeccable performance of Taylor’s music.
