Wet Wet Wet star plays intimate Bury gig

Wet Wet Wet’s Graeme Clark comes to The Met for an intimate solo performance on Thursday 8 May at 8pm.

As a cornerstone of record breaking, multi-million selling band Wet Wet Wet, Graeme Clark is no stranger to playing sell-out stadium concerts all over the world. More recently though, he’s been performing his own stripped back acoustic songs to an army of loyal and devoted fans.

Graeme comments: ”It’s easy to get washed away in the huge wave of success I enjoy with Wet Wet Wet but it’s great to have my own career”.

Graeme wrote over 30 hits with the band, including Goodnight Girl, Sweet Little Mystery, Julia Says and Temptation. With soul, pop and Americana influences, his 2012 debut solo album Mr Understanding and 2013 EP Catching Fire have been well received. New EP Dry Land continues to explore musical genres, with a Celtic country rock vibe.

Playing his new solo material and covers some of the Wet’s favourites in his own inimitable style, Graeme will be joined on stage at The Met by honorary Wet Wet Wet member and guitarist Graeme Duffin and Iain Duff on piano and accordion.

Tickets to see the performance are £12. For more information or to book phone 0161 761 2216 or go online at www.themet.biz
