Another chance to Kiss Sid James

Reform Theatre Company present Robert Farquhar’s critically acclaimed rom-com Kissing Sid James at The Met on Wednesday 23 April at 8pm.

.

Eddie is an aspiring stationery salesman with a fast car in dynamite orange. Crystal is a croupier with a bit of a thing for Sean Connery. Trapped in a shabby B & B, they try very hard to see if they can make love blossom, can the two would-be lovers ignite the sparks of passion, or is their idyllic weekend at the seaside going to be more wet sand and cloudy romance than blue skies?

“You know a true comic playwright has arrived when the audience start laughing before the actors tell the jokes.” - The Guardian

Funny and touching, Kissing Sid James was a hit when it ran at nearby Bolton Octagon in 2011, with The Bolton News dubbing it “One of the most hilarious plays ever written.

Tickets for the event are £12. For more information or to book phone 0161 761 2216 or go online at www.themet.biz
