Rock Choir Sing in Aid of Bury Creative Spaces

Bury and Bolton Rock Choir perform at The Met on Wednesday 4 December at 8pm in support of the Edwin Street Recording Studio Refurbishment Project.

.

With songs from Abba to Adele, Rock Choir are renowned for their slick, professional performances and superbly choreographed routines. Across the UK, Rock Choir performances have raised money and awareness for hundreds of charities and local projects.

Bury and Bolton Rock Choir meet each Monday evening in the first-floor rehearsal rooms at The Met’s recording studio, Edwin Street. Following a successful fundraising campaign in 2010 which turned the ground floor of Edwin Street into a professional recording studio, the refurbishment project now aims to transform the first-floor space to make it suitable for the hundreds of people who visit Bury each week for singing, drama, dance and music classes and rehearsals.

The choir have previously performed at The Met to raise money for The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity and recently sang for over 5,000 people at the Bolton Christmas Lights Switch-On in Victoria Square.

Tickets to see the performance at The Met are £10 or £8 for concessions. For more information or to book tickets phone 0161 761 2216 or go online at www.themet.biz.
