Enter The Secret Garden at The Met this Christmas

The Met and Proper Job Theatre Company present The Secret Garden, running from Wednesday 11 – Tuesday 24 December.

Based on Frances Hodgson Burnett’s 1901 classic children’s novel, The Secret Garden follows ten-year-old Mary on enchanting adventures in an old forgotten garden at her uncle’s house in Yorkshire. Together with her new friend Dickon and her sickly cousin Colin, Mary works astonishing magic in herself and those around her to bring the garden back to life.

With loveable characters and catchy songs, The Secret Garden is the fourth annual collaboration between The Met and Proper Job Theatre Company for the Christmas production, following previous successes with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Scrooge and Pinocchio.

The production features actors Rick Ferguson and Calum McIntosh as Mr Craven and Dickon, performing alongside talented young people from Bury; Connor Beckwith and Felix Knowles sharing the role of Colin and Kate Bannister and Amelia Lucas sharing the role of Mary.

Tickets for The Secret Garden start at £8. For more information or to book tickets phone 0161 761 2216 or go online at www.themet.biz.
