First Thursday Comedy Club gets Socky

First Thursday Comedy Club at The Met welcomes darlings of stage, screen and YouTube, the Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppets, on Thursday 7 November at 8.30pm.

The Scottish Falsetto Socks combine schoolboy silliness, funny songs, endless plays on words and puppetry slapstick to create their own brand of comedy which is utterly irresistible.

The socky comedy double act began touring in 2005 and has performed nationally and internationally each year since, attracting rave reviews. Created and performed by comedian Kev Sutherland, the Socks’ television performances have included; The Culture Show (BBC2), The One Show (BBC), Comedy Shuffle (BBC3), GMTV (09), Upstaged (BBC3), BBC News (08), Current TV, Best Show Ever (MTV); Big Brother’s Little Brother (C4) and many more.

 

The Scottish Falsetto socks will be supported at First Thursday Comedy by Ian Crawford – a hilarious health and safety advisor, and observational comedian John Warburton.
