Uncanny Theatre ‘touch wood’ with new comedy

Leeds based comedy theatre trio Uncanny Theatre Company present brand new show, Instructions for a Better Life, at The Met on Wednesday 6 November at 8pm.

.

Part thriller, part comedic romp through human psychology, Instructions for a Better Life sheds light on some of our more bizarre human behaviour such as touching wood, saluting magpies, avoiding walking under ladders or not opening umbrellas indoors.

Made up of Matt Rogers (Total Theatre Award winner), Natalie Bellingham and Nikolai Calcoen, Uncanny Theatre came together with a desire to create absurd comedy performance about serious things, highlighting the ridiculous elements of human nature and revealing a darker edge to our foibles.

This is a company that indulges its own daftness and enjoys it. If it continues to do so, audiences will continue to enjoy the indulgences.” – Yorkshire Post

Tickets for the performance are £10 or £6 for concessions. For more information or to book tickets phone 0161 761 2216 or go online at www.themet.biz.
