Wooden Horse present harmonic country blues at The Met

The Met presents an evening of equestrian themed Americana on Friday 4 October, with Wooden Horse supported by Ramsbottom country group Horses on the Move.

Wooden Horse are West Midland duo Jamie Knight and Ben Church, playing Americana and country blues laced with harmonies, slide guitar, stomp box, banjo and harmonica. Their debut album, What Comes Around, was released in 2012 to great acclaim followed by slots supporting Joan Armatrading and Sandi Thom.

Great musicianship, awesome harmonica playing” – Sandi Thom.

Wooden Horse come to The Met supported by local band Horses on the Move. Featuring Damien Heakin on guitar and vocals, Lucy Whitton on piano and vocals, Roberto Ruiz on bass and Chas Morrison on drums, Horses on the Move create their own blend of cosmic country rock.

Tickets for the event are £8. For more information or to book tickets phone 0161 761 2216 or go online at www.themet.biz.
