Award Winning Comedy at Annual LGBT Event

Bury Council LGBT Network’s annual Not The Only Gays In The Village event returns to The Met on Friday 27 September at 8pm, featuring comedians Scott Agnew, lara A king, Lee Peart and Kerry Leigh.

Award-winning comedian Scott Agnew is considered one of the best story-tellers in the business. Also a former journalist, Scott has numerous TV presenting credits (MTV, BBC Three, STV) and radio appearances (BBC 5Live, BBC Radio Scotland, Clyde 1, Galaxy FM) under his belt.

Likening him to Billy Connolly would seem trite if it weren’t accurate. Always hilarious.” – Fringe Guru

Scott is supported by comediene, writer and singer/songwriter lara A king, who combines uplifting melodies, lyrical wordsmithery and very clever silliness to hilariously observe the baffling absurdities of life, young comedian Lee Peart, who returns to The Met following last year’s successful event and stand-up Kerry Leigh, the resident MC for Laughing Cows Comedy night in Manchester and host of comedy events across the UK.

Everyone in the audience laughed out loud” – Buxton Fringe

Tickets for the event are £12 or £10 for concessions. For more information or to book tickets phone 0161 761 2216 or go online at www.themet.biz.
