Siamsa bring The Craic to The Met

Bury’s favourite traditional Irish band, Siamsa, come to The Met on Saturday 7 September at 8pm.

.

Siamsa is as much a philosophy as it is a band. Its full name, Siamsa Agus Cairde, literally translated means ‘Entertainment and Friends’. With a large repertoire of songs about the emerald isle, they play a mixture of old-time classics such as Whiskey in the Jar and Dirty Old Town, modern classics such as Galway Girl and a selection of jigs and reels.

Using a classic combination of fiddle, whistle and banjo, the band’s live shows are full of enthusiasm, fun and The Craic.

Tickets for the event are £5. For more information or to book tickets phone 0161 761 2216 or go online at www.themet.biz.
