Charming light show for toddlers comes to The Met

The Met welcomes Italian children’s theatre company La Baracca with their beautiful story about a very particular stage light in Spot on Saturday 8 June at 3pm.

.

“I’m the sun in the yellow, the sea in the blue and the sky in the light blue, I’m fire in the red… and I turn red when I get excited! I’m a bright street; I’m a feast. Oh… I’m dark! And you can’t see me anymore! I don’t speak, but I open and close my eyes. I have no feet, no hands and no legs, but I can follow you while you walk… I am Spot and I tell stories.”

Perfect for little peopled aged 1-4, stage light Spot expresses itself by drawing shapes and colours on the floor. Alongside co-star, actor Andrea Buzetti, Spot explores light, colour and emotions through movement, images and theatrical magic.

Founded in 1980, La Baracca has produced over 140 shows for children and young people, with more than 9,000 performances across Europe. The company won the Award for Artistic Excellence from the International Association of Theatre For Children and Young people in 2008.

Tickets for the performance are £6. For further information or to book tickets please go online at www.themet.biz or phone ticket office on 0161 761 2216
