Are you brave enough to enter The Shop of Little Horrors?

Award-winning theatre company Pickled Image bring their brand new comedy thriller The Shop of Little Horrors to The Met on Thursday 13 June at 7.30pm.

How do you scream without moving your lips?

A dark and twisted show with a wicked sense of humour, The Shop of Little Horrors follows the story of proprietor Albert Grimlake of Grimlake’s Emporium of Novelties, a dilapidated shop on the outskirts of Nowhere.

Albert is obsessed with puppets, particularly ventriloquist dummies – each face lovingly crafted by his own hand, and bearing an uncanny resemblance to customers, friends and family long gone. But Grimlake is growing old and knows he won’t last forever. Enter Eric. He’s young, he’s eager, and he’s seen all the Muppet movies, twice. But there’s so much to learn…

Specialising in puppetry for live performance and theatre, Pickled Image have gained international recognition and numerous awards for their darkly humorous visual productions, including former successes at The Met, Houdini’s Suitcase and Hunger.

Tickets are £10 and the show is suitable for ages 12+. For further information or to book tickets please go online at www.themet.biz or phone ticket office on 0161 761 2216.
