Multi-award winning classic rock band Mostly Autumn present brand new album, The Ghost Moon Orchestra, at The Met on Sunday 2 June at 8pm.
Blending influences from the golden age of seventies rock, Mostly Autumn have developed their own unique sound and style that captures the essence of the seventies and yet looks forward into the future.
The band have built a loyal cult following since their first album twelve years ago, counting Richard Wright of Pink Floyd, John Lord of Deep Purple and BBC’s Bob Harris amongst their fans. They received no less than six awards in the Classic Rock Society poll in 2011 and were voted Best Band in the same poll in 2012.
“The most noticeable factor in the way this band presents their songs is how each member compliments the other. The mix is always top notch and the musicianship archetypal of those that have their chops down to a science in their respective genre” – Prog Rock Music Talk
Mostly Autumn feature Bryan Josh on guitar, Olivia Sparnenn on lead vocals, Iain Jennings on keyboards, Andy Smith on bass, Gavin Griffiths on Drums, Liam Davidson on rhythm guitar and Anne-Marie Helder on second vocals and a selection of instruments.
Tickets are £14 in advance and £15 on the door. For further information or to book please go online at www.themet.biz or phone ticket office on 0161 761 2216.
