Inventive Folk Duo Belshazzar\’s Feast to Perform at The Met

Belshazzar\’s Feast Return to The Met on Saturday 28 May at 8pm.

Start with traditional folk music, add a touch of classical and jazz, throw in a bit of pop and music hall, and top it off with lashings of wry humour – and you have a wonderfully entertaining evening with Belshazzar\’s Feast.
BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2010 – Nominees for the Best Duo Award Paul Sartin (Bellowhead) and Paul Hutchinson (Hoover the Dog and Okavango) have been entertaining audiences since 1995.

\”Their music is breathtaking and wickedly inventive and the between-tunes interchange as intelligent and hilarious as the music.\” Mike Harding

In November 2009 they released Frost Bites, the follow up to the successful Food Of Love. A new album of non-seasonal material titled Find The Lady and produced by Jim Moray was released late last year to great acclaim.

\’It is a bona fide English classic\’ R2 (formerly Rock \’n\’ Reel)
