Martin Turner & Skinny Molly Perform Classic Rock at The Met

Join Martin Turner and Skinny Molly for an evening of classic rock music at The Met on Sunday 14 May at 8pm.

Martin Turner is the definitive voice, creative force and founding member of British rock legends Wishbone Ash. As lead vocalist and key creative force, Martin Turner was central to the critical and commercial success of Wishbone Ash\’s most revered albums, with his passionate vocal delivery, song writing ability, keen melodic sense and production values being a key ingredient in the definitive Wishbone Ash sound.
Back in 1973 Lynyrd Skynyrd changed the course of rock music by leading a new classic rock scene from the south, their debut album included the anthem Freebird, and the band went on to sell twenty six million records.
Founded in 2004 by Mike Estes (formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd) Dave Hlubek (formerly of Molly Hatchet) and drummer Kurt Pietro, Skinny Molly feature former members of Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Artimus Pyle band playing the best of Skynyrd and other classic southern rock anthems.
What was meant to be a one off tour of Europe has turned into one of the hardest working and popular rock bands out of the southern United States. Together these fantastic artists will create a memorable night of rock.
