Boston\’s David Wax Museum to Perform at The Met

The Met welcomes Boston\’s David Wax Museum on Wednesday 6 April at 8pm.

The David Wax Museum, \”one of Boston\’s hottest new bands\” (The Boston Globe), fuses exuberant Mexican roots music with home grown country folk, creating a unique Mexo-Americana sound. With Latin rhythms, call-and-response hollering, accordion pumping and donkey jawbone rattling, they have won over audiences across the country.

\”The David Wax Museum, an indie-folk band out of Boston, kicks up a cloud of excitement with its high-energy border-crossing sensibility.\” – The New Yorker

Having toured with The Avett Brothers and shared the stage with Ben Kweller, The Low Anthem, Andrew Bird and Nathaniel Rateliff, they have just released their new album Everything is Saved to great acclaim.

\”The first great album of 2011.\” – St. Petersburg Times

Tickets for the event are £8 advance or £10 on the door. To book call the ticket office on 0161 761 2216 or go on line www.themet.biz
