Hard Graft\’s Fame Attempt

The Met welcomes Hard Graft Theatre Company with the hilarious show, When Will I Be Famous? On Wednesday 2 March at 8pm.

How easy is it to become famous? Mark Whiteley has tried almost everything over the past ten years. Now he\’s touring the country telling the truth about his fame, or the lack of it.

To get famous, Mark has tried a various number of things including lying to John Peel about being a burglar; stealing £14,000 from The Prudential Insurance giving tips to the public about home security; walked across the country, coast to coast with no money, accommodation or food; emigrated to Poland and sold the first performance of a play on eBay to name a few.

Featuring Britain\’s Got Talent\’s Amanda Holden, Piers Morgan, and many more celebrities, this will no doubt be their best show ever.

Oh yes, before you all rush out and buy tickets to see Holden, Morgan and the likes, please note they won\’t be there in person, that ticket would be far more expensive!

Written and performed by Mark Whiteley (2007 BBC Alfred Bradley prize winner) the new show follows in the footsteps of past hits Poles Apart, Thick as Thieves and Coast to Coast, bringing together Hard Graft\’s unique blend of entertaining comedy storytelling

\”The most exciting piece of theatre I have possibly ever seen.\” BBC ****
