Edwina Hayes Headlines First Gig at The Met

The Met welcomes Edwina Hayes who returns to perform on her first headline tour on Saturday 5 March at 8pm.

Edwina is a singer/songwriter who has been a regular performer on both sides of the Atlantic for the last few years. Her cover of Randy Newman\’s Feels Like Home, was featured in the movie My Sister\’s Keeper starring Cameron Diaz & Alec Baldwin. The song subsequently went to number two in the I Tunes Folk Chart.

Edwina\’s performances are full of warmth and immediacy, with her beautiful, heartfelt singing, offset with wonderful stories about working in a crouton factory or shopping in Tesco\’s. Edwina has a special ability to communicate the message of a song, whether it\’s on one of her own melancholic compositions or to bring a new understanding to a more familiar cover version.

Edwina has just released her third album this month, Good Things Happen Over Coffee to great acclaim.
