Timperley\’s Frank Sidebottom Comes to Bury
The Met welcomes paper mache headed comedy veteran Frank Sidebottom on Friday 6th October at 8pm.
In a career that covers everything from music to comedy, Frank Sidebottom is a comedy veteran.
Frank first came to prominence on Manchester\’s Piccadilly Radio the show included understudies, among others, Chris Evans, Mark Radcliffe and Caroline Ahearn.
Musically Frank has his own inimitable style and has managed to crack the charts a number of times with classic banjo ballads such as Mull of Timperley, Arachy in Timperley and Timperley Sunset. Needless to say that Frank is born and bred Timperley!
Frank\’s live performances are legendary and have achieved cult status, each and every performance is different! Frank has also appeared on Match of the Day and has also provided pre match entertainment in Old Trafford and The Reebok Stadium.
