FIRST THURSDAY COMEDY CLUB

Manchester's comedy Godfather Smug Roberts is back. Starting out at The Frog and Bucket in Manchester Smug went on to entertain audiences in TV shows including Phoenix Nights, Mrs Brown's Boys and 24 Hour Party People as well as on Key 103, most famously with his song ‘Meat Pie, Sausage Roll (Come on England, Gi’s a Goal’)’

‘An extraordinary comic’M.E.N

Jonathan Mayor is the forgotten love child of Kenneth Williams and Eddie Izzard. Jonathan sets the stage alight with his razor sharp audience banter and stunning charisma.

'Hilarious. Charmingly vicious. Not sure how he gets away with it sometimes but audiences love him.' Jason Manford

After years of being a boyfriend, Matt Green is now a husband and is not entirely sure what he thinks about that. Is 'married life' actually any different? What are weddings really about? And is there ever a good time to use the word 'Bridezilla'? (No.)

'Spot on observational humour that will make anyone laugh-out-loud.'**** Everything Theatre

Despite being fairly new to the comedy circuit Pesha Lily has already won a comedy gong, opened the Bradford Gong and recently become a Comedy Hat New Act Of the Year Finalist. She throws passion into her routine and connects and interacts with audience as if she was chatting to an old friend.

Doors 8pm, on stage 8.30.

Please note: The Met will be undergoing refurbishment between March and November 2016. Events during this period will take place at other local venues.

This event will take place at The Fusilier Museum, Bury.
