Main Theatre

Derby Hall

Capacity 273 seated | 400 standing

This beautiful first floor Victorian hall has been Bury's principle venue since the 1850s.

With flexible staging and a retractable tiered seating system, the Derby Hall can host standing or seated events, or any combination of the two.

The hall boasts a full professional stage lighting and sound system.

With its own dressing rooms, foyer and fully equipped bar, which are available for hire either on their own or together with the hall, this is a self contained suite of rooms perfect for many occasions.

The Box

Capacity 80 seated or 100 standing

The Box is The Met's small ground floor performance space. With retractable tiered seating and professional lighting and sound, this small venue is perfect for meetings, presentations and intimate shows.

Catering

Our restaurant Automatic provides catering from simple, delicious finger buffets to extravagant mouth-watering meals all to suit your event and budget. Automatic can also provide teas and coffee for simple meetings or wine and beer for networking events, all of the highest quality. Automatic also sell a wedding catering package for only £2,000.

Sound and lighting

Full professional lighting and sound facilities can be provided by one of our experienced stage technicians.

Ticket sales

We can provide a full telephone and online ticket sale service through our friendly ticket office.
